Is there anything we could do to improve the site

This is the best site with some good people on it. I hope it continues.

I agree! It's a good site. Chat is not great but there other options if you want to talk to someone as I have done with a number of members on here!

Am a new member that was told about the site from a Yahoo/Flickr friend. I understand that 'members' don't want everything out there for everyone to see, but it's difficult to check out anyone's profile when almost all are private to begin with. I'd at least like to see a little about the other members to figure out if I wanted to friend them.

I totally agree, but when a new member can sign in and not even supply a profile picture (which I do believe will be sorted) and then have the option to be totally private, it puts the rest of us thinking. Well if they won't show there's, why should I show them mine.
I have a few pics in various groups (open to all) and a profile pic. I will befriend anyone, giving access to to my profile and general photos and once they interact or have a good profile and photo's I will let them access all of mine! That's how I hope most of us work!
